Welcome to the Institute of Organic Chemistry

The Institute of Organic Chemistry, together with the Horst Luther Lecture Hall, is centrally located on the natural campus of the university in the vicinity of Physical Chemistry, Physics and the refectory. The first section of the institute was opened in 1967 by Prof. K. D. Gundermann. In the 1970s, the institute was extended to its current size. The Institute of Organic Chemistry is part of the Faculty of Natural and Material Sciences.
